The Cisco Nexus 5010 Switch has been designed to meet the needs of next-generation data centers with an Ethernet-based unified fabric. Its foundation has been created upon high performance 10 Gigabit Ethernet, data center Ethernet, Fibre Channel over Ethernet, and Virtual-machine-optimized networking.


Cisco N5K-C5010 Features:
    • 1RU 10 Gigabit Ethernet and FCoE Switch
    • Up to 28 ports: 20 fixed 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports with SFP+ connectors and one expansion slot

Two Expansion ports support any combination of these modules:

  • 8-port 1/2/4 Gigabit Fibre Channel
  • 4-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet (Data Center Ethernet and FCoE) and 4-port 1/2/4 Gigabit Fibre Channel
  • 6-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet (Data Center Ethernet and FCoE)
