The Cisco MDS 9500 Series Supervisor Module brings a blend of performance, reliability and availability. It features: hot swappable module, active-active redundancy, power and thermal management and fabric-based multipathing.


Two Cisco MDS 9500 Series supervisor modules are required per system.

    • Switching Bandwidth: Cisco MDS 9509 Chassis; 700 Gbps per Supervisor-1 Module (1.4 Tbps when both supervisor modules are present)
