The IBM TS2340 Tape Drive Express Model boasts double the cartridge capacity of previous generation LTO drives and offers available hardware encryption created to deliver secure data storage and high performance. The IBM TS2340 Tape Drive can deliver high-capacity and performance to address the most demanding backup and archiving requirements.


You can choose between SCSI or SAS interfaces. This model uses the new IBM Ultrium 4 Tape Drive; IBM Ultrium 4 technology is created to support encryption of data and continues to support WORM operations. This TS2340 continues to offer a great alternative to slower and smaller capacity ΒΌ inch, 4mm and 8mm DLT/SDLT tape drives.
