IBM System Storage SAN40B-4 SAN Switch

The IBM SAN40B-4 (2498-B40, 249840E) is a terrific solution for medium-size SAN environments. It features a high port density design with up to 40 ports in a small, 1U form factor. Delivering impressive performance levels with 8 Gbps FC technology, the IBM SAN40B-4 also boasts high availability features like redundant, hot-swappable fans and power supplies, as well as non-disruptive software upgrades.

The eight-port activation option allows you to “pay-as-you-grow”, with scalability to 32 and 40 ports. And, little or no management is needed in small fabric configurations.
