The IBM TotalStorage EXP Plus 320 features two separate models, the DS4, a 19-inch rack-mountable enclosure, or the TS4, a desk side, self contained, tower enclosure. Each model offers you a choice for a second power supply delivering redundant power and dual power source configurations.

The IBM TotalStorage EXP Plus 320 allows multiple configurations of the EXP Plus 320 to support various needs. Choose between:

  • Single host attachment for large capacity needs, up to fourteen disk drives
  • Dual host attachment with a single SCSI bus for non-concurrent, high availability needs with high availability cluster multi-processing (HACMP) failover
  • Dual host attachment with two SCSI buses, each bus with up to seven disk drives

The IBM EXP Plus 320 attaches to pSeries and select RS/6000 servers with these host adapters:

  • PCI-X Dual Channel Ultra320 SCSI Adapter (#5710, #5712)
  • PCI-X Dual Channel Ultra320 SCSI RAID Adapter (#5703, #5711)
  • PCI Dual Channel Ultra 3 SCSI Adapter (#6203)
  • PCI 4-Channel Ultra3 SCSI RAID Adapter (#2498)
  • PCI Dual Channel Ultra 2 SCSI Adapter (#6205)
