This policy covers vibrant.com and our online store at store.vibrant.com. It explains what information we collect when you visit, what we do with it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Vibrant Technologies, Inc. 6533 Flying Cloud Drive, Suite 1200 Eden Prairie, MN 55344 Phone: 952-653-1700 Email: info@vibrant.com
We are the business responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For visitors in the EU or UK, we are the "data controller."
What we collect
Contact and quote requests. When you use the contact form on vibrant.com, email us, or call us, we collect what you give us: your name, company, email address, phone number, what you are interested in, and your message. The vibrant.com form is processed by Netlify, which hosts our website, and delivered to our sales team.
Store accounts and orders. When you create an account or place an order on store.vibrant.com, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, order history, and any comments you add to an order. Our store runs on the Cart.com (AmeriCommerce) ecommerce platform. Credit card numbers are entered into a secure field provided by TokenEx and sent directly to our payment processor. We never see or store full card numbers. If you choose a financing or net-terms option such as Affirm, Apruve or TreviPay, that provider collects the information it needs to make its decision under its own privacy policy.
Live chat. Both sites offer live chat through tawk.to. When the chat widget loads, tawk.to records your IP address, approximate location, the page you are on, and your browser type, and sets cookies that recognize you if you return. If you start a chat, we and tawk.to keep the conversation, along with any name or email address you provide. Chat transcripts help us answer your questions and train our team.
Job applications. Applications sent through our Careers page go to careers@vibrant.com. We collect the information in your résumé and message and use it only for recruiting.
Automatic information and cookies. Like most websites, we and the service providers below collect your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, how you got here, and what you click. Some of this is collected by cookies and similar technologies. The cookie section below lists every tool we use.
We do not knowingly collect information from children. Our sites are for businesses and are not intended for anyone under 16.
How we use it
- To respond to your questions and quote requests, and to fulfill, ship and support your orders.
- To run your store account, process payments, and send order confirmations and shipping updates.
- To send marketing emails about our products and services. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email with one click, and we will honor it.
- To measure how our sites perform and improve them.
- To advertise our business on Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn and similar networks, and to measure whether those ads work.
- To prevent fraud, secure our sites, and meet our legal and tax obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these cases:
- Service providers who work on our behalf: website hosting (Netlify, Cart.com), live chat (tawk.to), email (Mailchimp), analytics and advertising (the tools listed below), and security (Cloudflare, Google reCAPTCHA). They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
- Payment and financing providers such as our credit card processor, TokenEx, PayPal, Affirm, Apruve and TreviPay, when you pay or apply for terms.
- Shipping carriers such as FedEx, who receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your order.
- Advertising networks. The advertising cookies described below let Google, Microsoft and LinkedIn recognize that you visited our sites so we can show you relevant ads elsewhere. Some state laws call this "sharing" or "targeted advertising." You can opt out, as described below.
- Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
- Business transfers. If Vibrant is sold or merged, your information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

Your choices:
- Browser controls. Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies will stop the store cart and login from working.
- Google: Ads Settings to control personalized ads, and the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- LinkedIn: opt out of the Insight Tag and read LinkedIn's Cookie Policy.
- Microsoft: personalized ad settings.
- Industry opt-outs: the Digital Advertising Alliance and Network Advertising Initiative pages let you opt out of many ad networks at once.
- Live chat. You do not have to use chat. Email or call us instead if you prefer.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Order, invoice and payment records are kept for seven years to meet tax and accounting rules. Quote and contact requests are kept while we are working with you and for a reasonable period afterward. Job applications are kept while we are considering you for a role and as required by employment law. Chat transcripts are kept by tawk.to under our account settings. When we no longer need information, we delete it or anonymize it.
How we protect it
Both sites use HTTPS encryption. Card numbers are handled by TokenEx and our payment processor, not by our own servers. Access to customer records inside Vibrant is limited to the people who need it for their job. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed without authorization, but we work to prevent it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including under Minnesota and other U.S. state privacy laws, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correct information that is inaccurate.
- Delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law.
- Opt out of targeted advertising, as described in the cookie section.
- Appeal if we decline a request.
To make a request, email info@vibrant.com, call 952-653-1700, or write to the address above. We will confirm your identity before acting on a request and respond within the time the law requires, normally 45 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Visitors in the EU, UK and Switzerland. We process your information to perform a contract with you (orders and quotes) and for our legitimate interests in running, marketing and improving our business. Our servers and service providers are in the United States, so your information is transferred there. You have the rights listed above plus the right to object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
ITAD and data destruction services
This policy is about information collected through our websites. If you are an IT asset disposition customer, the handling of your retired equipment and the data on it is governed by your service agreement with us and our R2v3-certified processes, including certified data sanitization and destruction. Those commitments are separate from, and in addition to, this website policy.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you by email or a notice on the site.
