Both the Sun Fire V215 server and the Sun Fire V245 server feature one or two CPUs, 1MB of L2 cache, eight DDR1 DIMM slots, four 10/100/1000 megabit Ethernet ports, and two rear USB 2.0 connectors. While the Sun Fire V215 is available in a 1RU form factor, the Sun Fire V245 is available in a 2U package.

The Sun V245 is a smart choice for data center environments, delivering high-availability and scalability along with expandability features that allow for growth as requirements evolve. The Sun Fire V245 offers up to two 1.5GHz UltraSPARC IIIi processors, up to 16GB memory, and up to four 73GB SAS 2.5-inch disks.
