Processor speeds are available in 3.5Ghz, 4.2GHz or 5.0Ghz options. The 8204-E8A can scale up to 256GB of RAM with two slots per CPU card available. Install up to six hard drives per server for a maximum internal storage capacity of 2700GB (with 3.5" DASD) or 1174.4GB (with 2.5" DASD option). This model is part of the IBM Power 550 Power systems lineup.
