HP NAS B3000 Storage Model

Vibrant buys and sells new and used HP NAS Storage such as the HP All-in-One models including the HP NAS B3000 Storage Unit as well as hard disk drives, parts and upgrades. The NAS B3000 system is made up of an E7000 Head Unit with attached MSA1000 combined Controller and Storage Shelf, together demonstrating a blend of SAN and NAS technologies.

The NAS B3000 can be arranged in five different configurations, each attached to a Modular Smart Array 1000 (MSA1000) storage enclosure:

as a single NAS device connected to optional external SAN switches or hubs
as a single NAS device connected to the embedded six port switches on the MSA1000
as a single NAS device connected to the embedded fibre channel I/O modules on the MSA1000
as a clustered pair connected to optional external SAN switches or hubs
as a clustered pair connected to the embedded six port switches on the MSA1000

Other specs on this model include:

Supports up to 27 TB of raw storage capacity
Each fully populated storage enclosure subsystem supports 42 hard drives
Max raw capacity of 3TB using 72 GB hard drives
