All switches in the HP 2500 Series include two Gigabit transceiver slots for copper or fiber connectivity, including 100Base-FX. Security features include IEEE 802.1X and RADIUS network login and RADIUS/TACACS+, which simplifies switch management security administration by using a password authentication server.
